The A-1005 Tripod with Y-10 Ball Head from Sirui is a 5-section tripod weighing 2.6 lb, with reverse-folding aluminum legs, which allow it fold to a compact 14". Moreover, the tripod has a maximum height of 55.1" with the center column fully extended. The weight capacity of the A-1005 is 22 lb, and a hook is located at the bottom of the center column, which enables you to hang a small sandbag or camera bag for extra stability and for those days when it's windy outdoors.

The varying angles of the legs allow the tripod to spread to a minimum height of 10.2". The center column is reversible and it can be placed upside down, so you can do macro photography. A useful feature of the tripod is the detachable leg, which becomes a monopod and the height is increased by adding the center column to the tripod's leg.

The included Y-10 Ball Head is an Arca-type compatible ball head, which has a knob-style lock, and it comes equipped with a quick release plate. Also, the other two separate knobs control the movement of the ball and 360° panning base. In addition, with the ball head's single-cut notch, the camera can be placed in a 90° angle.
