“A Great Lens”

I have recently made the switch from medium format film to digital with a D800 body. After having my new camera body and my old crappy 35mm lenses, I knew I had to update the lenses. This lens is tack sharp and focuses fast. It is massive in size but you are getting a pro lens and if you are shooting on a higher-end digital body, then you need to do your camera body justice and upgrade your lenses. I'm going on a trip soon and will really get a chance to stretch its legs with some planned photo ops.

I started off with primes.... 24mm, 50mm, ect... shooting portraits of children with primes is not easy. The 24-70 solves this prolem. This lens is great. built like a tank, great image quality. Matched to a FX camera this lens is great for landscapes or people.
